18/19/20 September 2019
Sea Change provides a dedicated space for women in the industry to develop professionally and personally. You will devote valuable time to sharing challenges and experience with peers building your confidence, expertise and network.
Set on the beautiful and remote island of Tiree time away from your inbox will bring fresh air and insight to your immediate and distant horizons.
Screen Argyll is bringing together experienced practitioners and industry experts to discuss challenges and barriers to progressing your career and practice. Discussions and workshops will be enriched by often neglected voice and movement practice.
The 2019 lab will focus on Finding Your Voice, Making Yourself Heard and Engaging New Audiences. You will gain an understanding of what motivates and inspires you. Together we will bring about change for women in the industry and female audiences for film.
Speakers include: Rachel Hayward from HOME, Shona Thomson from A Kind of Seeing, Corrina Antrobus from Picture House Cinemas and the Bechdel Test, Toki Allison from Inclusive Cinema and Holly Tarquini from Film Bath and the F – Rating. The one to one coaching sessions are provided by Sarah Moss Associates. There will be a walk, daily sea action and a pilates session led the animator who designed Jessica Rabbit!
