Screen Argyll has developed a framework for Screen Education across remote and rural Scotland with a focus on animation.
We now have a Tiree-based Learning Coordinator funded by Screen Scotland and dedicated to working towards our overall strategic development and delivery of film education.

This was something that the pupils really enjoyed as they could see how their character concepts they started with could grow further and more refined. Pupils also wanted as much knowledge as possible so they could take these new skill-sets and processes home with them, to refine and experiment further and in their own time, a clear example of how well the workshop resonated with the pupils. Our strategy includes a programme for animation education with three key strands of delivery: Animation School, Animation Academy, and Alumni Network.
We also offer CPD sessions to support teacher in using film and animation in the classroom.
